The opposite of black magic is white magic. The difference between black magic and white magic-debatable, although the theory is generally included in the following categories:
* One theory states that all forms of witchcraft is evil, regardless of the color (white or black), with this view is generally associated with Satanism.
* Theory of Dark Doctrine states that black magic is the power of darkness, usually seen from the street corner Left-Hand of view. This may or may not be in contrast with the white magic, depending on user acceptance of dualism.
* There is a difference in the theory that the forms and black magic component that is not the same for different goals or interests of those casting harmful spells rather than white. Dangerous (spell-casting) tends to include symbolism that seems dangerous or harmful to humans, such as a sharp, sharp, barbed, caustic, and the heat element is combined with the object very personal target spell it (their hair, blood, mementos, etc). This difference can be observed particularly in folk magic, but with regard to the type of magic as well.
* Another theory states that both black and white magic is completely different from the ground up and managed unique, even if they achieve the same effect. This attitude is often presented in fiction, and as a result, two classes of magic-users are portrayed as either ideological and contradictory. In The Lord of the Rings, Elves and Humans find it strange that the hobbits could even use a single word, "magic", which refers to both forms, as the Elvish language also consider them as totally separate and unrelated.
* Equal theory states that black and white magic are exactly the same, distinguished only by the final destination and purpose. According to this theory, the same spell could be either white or black (see magic gray); nature is determined by the final result spell. The majority religion to follow this belief, as does the rest of fiction that do not fit the theory Connection No. With this interpretation, even as the spell is usually seen as a good can be misused, so that healing can be used to regenerate the body to the point of cancer, for example.
Magic Sun and Moon refers to a light (or "White") magic as the magic of the sun or a day, and Dark (or "Black") magic as the magic of the moon or night. This interpretation has nothing to do with "good" or "evil", but rather has to do with the natural cycle of day and night. But again, it all depends on the practitioner intent-even "white" or "day" magic can be used for evil purposes, and is still called the "white" magic.
Evil: Does the person or idea that has to do with the purpose or nature of evil (rough definition)
Gothic: What becomes dark without malice or nature (rough definition.)
